I wanted to take a quick break from leases, move outs, rent rolls, coffee (no, I'm actually having a cup right now ), conventions, and the conundrum of "mysterious" leaks, to celebrate something incredibly close to my heart.
On March 1, 2014, PG Management Group opened its doors in Charlotte, NC, embarking on what would be an extraordinary journey. Fast forward 10 years, and here I am, stronger, wiser, and with a few (ok, a lot) more grey hairs!!
This milestone isn't just about survival; it's a testament to thriving against the odds, especially through the COVID rollercoaster. As a small business, I've weathered storms, navigated uncertainties, and emerged with even more grit and gratitude.
And it's all thanks to you - my remarkable owners, tenants, vendors, colleagues, friends, and, of course, my invaluable National Association of Residential Property Managers (NARPM) family. You've all played a pivotal role in this adventure, offering support, wisdom, and the kind of laughter that makes even the toughest days seem bright.
I must send a heartfelt THANK YOU to the incredible people I've had the privilege of meeting along this journey. From the very first handshake (or elbow bump) to the Zoom call, your stories, challenges, and triumphs have enriched this experience beyond words.
To my family - your love and patience have been my guiding light. Whether through makeshift home offices, or my questionable attempts at home-cooked meals, you've been there. With all the love in my heart, thank you for being my foundation and for tolerating, well, me.
As I step into the next chapter, I'm super excited for the years to come, the challenges I will conquer, and the rewards I will reap along the way. The past decade has laid the foundation for a future filled with growth, learning, and plenty of laughter.
Here's to us - to every person who's been a part of this journey, through highs and lows, and to all the incredible connections yet to be made.
Let's continue to build, to support one another, and to find joy in every lease we sign and every property we manage.
